His musical journey took Passierschein A38 from the sinister sounds of Deathmetal through the grooves of Hip Hop and Trip Hop, where his first experience as a DJ started, to the grinding sounds of Deep House, Techno and the tempting rhythms of Slowhouse. But Passierschein A38 didn't stop at the surface of these genres. Over the years he developed a broad understanding for each subgenre and its particular elements, digging deep, allowing him the ability to distinguish and combine music on a very subtle level.
His debut Grey & Green lives from the everlasting reprocity between nature and technology. The technoid sound wanders menacingly through the scrub of natural samples, forming a hybrid of rythm and noise, not always obvious wether it's living or synthetic producing the sound. Deeply bound to the ties of nature, each track lives from a variety of organic sounds, embedded in grounded, hypnotising baselines, tossing the listener more and more into their own consciousness. The forming idea of Grey & Green is a almost minimalistic, filigree play of different elements, softly put together, without any unnecessery effects, clear to the point. Like wandering in deep night through a forest, the listener is committed to sharpen his perception and listen very carefully, so he (or she) won't miss anything vital.

Superb selection of downtempo, downbeat & deep house. A real world sonic ballad. Each track has its place in the album and brings an appeasing coherence. jef37
